Sean Penn Files for Divorce

Back on December 7, Sean Penn filed for divorce from wife Robin Wright Penn. Unfortunately for Penn, the petition was later dismissed.

Not to be overdone, on December 21, Robin Wright Penn decided she would take matters into her own hands and file for divorce herself. This time the petition stuck.

Both Sean and Robin have cited “irreconcilable differences” as their reasons for getting the divorce. Unlike all the child custody issues that Britney Spears and K-Fed have been having, it looks like both parties in this divorce will have joint legal and physical custody of the two kids Dylan Frances and Hopper Jack.

Things should be relatively quite for the time being, as nothing will happen until their divorce hearing that will be on April 21.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn were married in April 1996.
