Russell Simmons Battles for Custody of his Children

Back in March, Kimora Lee Simmons (32) filed for divorce from hip-hop icon Russell Simmons (50), in Los Angeles, California after being legally separated “for some time”.

At the time, things seemed civil enough as Kimora as she was asking for both legal and physical custody of their two daughters, but also noted that Russell should receive “reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”

Well, things have just taken a turn for the worse. Kimora is now filed a divorce petition requesting sole custody of the two children. Obviously Russell is challenging this, and he is now seeking joint physical and legal custody. So what we have now is an all out child custody battle.

Adding fuel to the fire, both decided to trade body blows by asking the court to deny spousal support for the other. What a mess.
