Robin Williams’ Wife Files for Divorce

After almost 19 years of marriage, Marsha Garces Williams (early 50s), wife of Robin Williams (56), has decided to file for divorce. Citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, Garces Williams filed the divorce petition on March 21 in San Francisco, California.

This is Robin Williams’ second divorce, the first being from Valerie Velardi after 10 years of marriage. Williams has two children with Garces: Zelda and Cody. He also has a son named Zachary from his previous wife Velardi. It was through Zachary that Robin and Marsha met, as she had worked as a nanny for Zachary.

Robin and Marcha not only were married, they also worked together, as they both founded Blue Wolf Productions, and Garces even produced such movies as Mrs. Doubtfire, Patch Adams, Jakob the Liar, and Robin Williams Live on Broadway.

So its time to lawyer up… Marsha Garces has hired Beverly Hills, California divorce lawyer Robert Kaufman, who has no comment at this point about the divorce. At this point Williams’ divorce lawyer is not known.
